This eye-shaped, three-legged coffee table was originally designed to match the 46 Sofa, designed Circa 1940
The shape of the table fits perfectly with the curve of the sofa, and hence creating a design unity between the two pieces.
This style of the table is availabe as a stand alone piece or nest of tables, 2 or 3 collectively.

Finn Juhl

Finn Juhl, vooral bekend om zijn meubelontwerpen, was een Deense architect, interieur- en industrieel ontwerper. Samen met zijn landgenoten Arne Jacobsen, Hans Wegner, Borge Mogensen en Poul Kjaerholm introduceerde Finn Juhl Deens modern design in het mid-eeuwse Amerika. Zijn interesse in meubelontwerp begon in de jaren dertig toen zijn vader het afkeurde dat hij kunsthistoricus wilde worden. Hoewel opgeleid in architectuur, waren het zijn moderne meubelontwerpen die hem internationale bekendheid opleverden. Zijn vroegste werken, ontworpen eind jaren dertig, zijn misschien wel zijn meest idiosyncratische, hoewel één criticus zei dat het op een "vermoeide walrus" leek. Maar na vele pogingen maakte Juhl op 39-jarige leeftijd in 1951 zijn Amerikaanse debuut op de Good Design-tentoonstelling in Chicago en in MoMA in New York. Hij is tegenwoordig het beroemdst om zijn iconische meubelontwerpen, waaronder de Chieftan Armchair en de 108 Dining Chair, die nu door Mobelaris gestyled worden.
