Designed with the intention of supplying as much light as possible the MFL-1 Style Contemporary Floor Lamp was Serge Mouille’s attempt to make the ordinary interesting again, by taking the tried-and-tested floor lamp design a complete aesthetic overhaul, bringing natural form into the living room. The sleek design dates back from 1953 and seems timeless as it is today. With its sleek iron body and curved, tapered legs, it was a radical design when it was first released to the public more than six decades ago.
Consisting of an iron brass arm and tripod base, the MFL-1 Style Contemporary Floor Lamp by Designer Editions bears the same stick-insect inspired aesthetic and unmistakable tapered iron legs that became a hallmark of Serge Mouille's style, a high end style that features a full piece that is coated in a black matte lacquer, with only the interior of the shade finished in white to maximize the bulb’s reflective qualities. This piece slip seamlessly into almost any home setting. This adjustable floor lamp makes it easy to customize your lighting to any space.
